We had many high-quality student works at our CALA 2025 FallConference in Halifax! Our student awards were given to those papers thatillustrate an outstanding contribution to the field of language assessment. TheFall Conference 2025 recipients are: Matthieu Meignan for his paper titled​“Meaningfully addressing consequential validity for minoritized communitiesthrough experiential knowledge/ Traiter de manière significative lavaliditéconséquente pour les communautés minoritaires grâce au savoir expérientiel” ;Meng-Hsun Lee for his paper titled: “​A Mixed-Methods Investigation intoRaters’ Assessments of Prosodic Features” ; and Christina Hammam for her papertitled : “​Understanding Referral Barriers: A Scoping Review ofPsychoeducational Assessment Pathways for EAL Students.” Congratulations onceagain!
